1. Lawsuit abuse must be curtailed because frivolous lawsuits are clogging our courts and driving up the cost of everyday goods and services ... costing the average family of four nearly $3,600 per year.

2. The number of frivolous lawsuits must be reduced because that will lower doctors’ malpractice insurance premiums and help them keep their practices open.

3. The system does not protect the “little guy” anymore because some lawyers manipulate it so that the lawyers -- and not their clients -- get nearly half the money awarded in many cases.
